Touring Citi Field Between Center Field And Left Field

Shannon Shark, Mets Police Chief

As we continue our tour of....(boy the brain wants to say Shea....)...Citi Field, now we're over the bridge and heading to the left field corner.

We come upon the Verizon Studio.

I don't really understand what it is....

...but it looks nice enough and we're invited in.  I'm agnostic on this one and will just keep walking.

Here's the kids version of Citi Field.   Looks like fun, but both Daddy and Mets Police Junior couldn't be bothered to wait on the line.

Also in this area are the batting cages for kids.   Also cool, also come with a line.   We kept going....

...but this kid was more patient than we are.

The dunk tank is a lot of fun, it was crowded enough that I couldn't get a clear picture....

...despite several tries.

Tomorrow we make our way to the beer.

If You're Visiting For The First Time

If you are visiting The Mets Police for the first time, welcome. This blog aims to be a little different. We're less likely to complain about a pitching change than we are likely to complain about what the pitcher was wearing. We're about Mets history and tradition. We'd like to see a Seaver statue at Citi Field. We'd like the black uniforms to go away. We'd like the team to always treat the fans with respect. We're just regular old Mets fans like you who have migrated from the uppers to the Promenade where we were saddened when we found plexiglass. Finally, for all our complaining we just want the franchise to win the World Series (while nicely dressed).

We're in the middle of a series called "5 Questions for Average Mets Fans." Depending on when you visit the site it may or may not be the top article. Scroll down and you'll see some of the other types of articles we do....ticket plans, new uniforms, memories, anything Mazzilli or Seaver.

The site is updated several times a day, usually morning, noon, and night (cliche but true) with other items as they come in. Welcome!
Mets Police in no way claims to be news nor accurate, including the stuff to which we link. It's just a blog. Read the blog and/or take our advice at your own risk. We encorage everyone to support the New York Mets and their business partners. Just don't wear a black Mets jersey while doing so.
