My general feeling about Citi Field today is that the color black is being de-emphasized in the color scheme.
Next year is the franchise’s 50th season – might be a good excuse to go to a traditional look!

OMG – The Sept 21, 2001 pic brings back so many memories. I live outside of Richmond, VA and I so vividly remember listening to that game on the radio – yes, I could hear the FAN broadcast down there – as I drove home from a High School Football game (even though I was taping the TBS broadcast). When Piazza hit that home run I screamed and practically jumped, almost ripping my seat belt. I pounded on my steering wheel in jubilation – I’m sure the other drivers in the other cars thought I was crazy. They’re right; I’m crazy about the Mets. It still feels like it happened yesterday.
