45 pictures of the 1986 Exhibit at the Mets Hall of Fame

The Mets have a new exhibit at the Mets Hall of Fame at Citi Field.  Shall we?

This is a large amount of pictures so I’m going to post a few here – then you can “read more” and view the gallery if you want to see the rest.

And for the other pics keep reading through…click on any image for a much bigger version

  1. i understand the importance of 1986 and the championship and what it means to us mets fans, but did they have to clear everything not from 86 out of the room? even the timeline of jerseys was replaced with just 86 jerseys (for the most part anyway). are they planning to just have different exhibits each year?

  2. I’m happy that there is a 1986 exhibit to honor the anniversary, but I too was disappointed that almost all of the non-1986 displays were removed. I can understand if the items were on loan for a year and had to be returned, but even if that’s the case, it’s still a shame.

  3. was there any food displayed from the food fight on the plane ride home from huston when they won the pennant ?

  4. Interesting to see Barry Lyons’ glove in there. I actually know Barry. He lives in the next town over and I’ve worked with him a few times.
