      That is called soutache I believe and I could not agree more. Here is the best Met alt ever IMO…love the stripe pattern and shade of blue…striping was thicker than soutache.

I hear that the Mets read this blog…hire me for a decent base salary and I’ll work mainly on commissions of gross sales of team apparel…I’ll re-design all team apparel for on field and in-stores. 7. I love the blue.. I can see the mets putting the black drop in the jerseys tho.. There should be no black at all.. A nice Mr. Mets patch too would be nice

      2. Orange-blue-orange soutache on collar and sleeves only
      3. White-orange-white soutache on collar and sleeves only

      I think number 2…3 is not bad either, but takes eyes off the script too much.

         All three options would be better than the black jerseys, and the hybrid hat cannot go quick enough. Looking to the home jerseys, they went in the right direction with the new pinstripes.
