  1. This is killer…resign Reyes…Get Santana back…wear these…it will create nice buzz for next year’s 50th Anniversary…oh, need a nice patch for that too. I gotta work on one.

  2. If the Mets feel they have to have colored jersey then this is the one. No more black.

  3. Wow!…I like that alot!….Best yet!….Don’t tell me the Mets may get something right!

    1. Thanks Rich…in all seriousness, I’m having a lot of fun doing these. I hear that the Mets read this blog…hire me for a decent base salary and I’ll work mainly on commissions of gross sales of team apparel…I’ll re-design all team apparel for on field and in-stores. I guarantee sales will sky-rocket. Don’t let your brand degrade anymore. I’ll integrate team history with modernized, new stuff such as this one. Let’s get started…I walked through Modell’s the other night and was in horror at what they were selling as Mets merchandise. The 50th Anniversary is coming up. Shannon will give you my email. (Stranger things have happened…this would be my dream job)

  4. I do like that a ton. What does it look like with an orange/white/orange stripe combo on the blue?

  5. I love the blue.. I can see the mets putting the black drop in the jerseys tho.. There should be no black at all.. A nice Mr. Mets patch too would be nice

    1. Which of the three do you like best?

      1. Thin orange piping down chest
      2. Orange-blue-orange soutache on collar and sleeves only
      3. White-orange-white soutache on collar and sleeves only

I think number 2…3 is not bad either, but takes eyes off the script too much.
