Mets will be on 1050 ESPN Deportes

NEW YORK METS GAMES IN 2013

FLUSHING, N.Y., December 13, 2012 – The New York Mets and ESPN Deportes Nueva York 1050 AM today announced that the station will broadcast Mets games in Spanish for the 2013
season. Under the agreement, 1050 AM will broadcast 150 regular season games, including select spring training, and postseason. Coverage will also include pre/post-game shows for each game.

In September, ESPN’s 1050 AM switched to ESPN Deportes Radio, becoming the first and only Spanish-language radio station in New York dedicated to providing sports content around-the-clock. The Mets agreements adds to the unmatched lineup of top sporting events that include NY Jets games, Dominican baseball, CONMEBOL South American World Cup Qualifiers, CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, Mexican First Division soccer, U.S. National Team friendlies, MLB and MLS. The station also offers two local sports shows serving the NY market- Firma ESPN & Zona ESPN NY-, in addition to the radio network’s national programming such as Raza Deportiva and Jorge Ramos y Su Banda.
