MetsPolice.com turns 5 today

Happy anniversary to us all!  Five years ago tonight I thought it was stupid that the one night the Mets didn’t wear names on the backs of the uniforms was the one night that everyone wore #42.  And away we went…

Thank you all for reading, participating, commenting, sending in links, tweeting, or even the silent majority of lurkers.  The site is up 40% over a year ago (thanks Deadspin, MetsBlog and UniWatch) but even on a normal day we’re hitting more folks than ever.

Hopefully the blog will come to an end in November.  The stated goal is for the Mets to win the World Series while dressed nicely.  Then a few more posts recapping the World Series parade and I’m gone.  Until then…

  1. Congratulations Shannon!…..This is one of my favorite Met Blogs!…Love the fact that you call them as you see them and you have no problem ripping the Mets.

    Keep up the great work.

I have a feeling you will be here next year.

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MetsPolice! My day doesn’t start without checking your blog. Thank you.
