This Day In Mets Infamy With Rusty: The ” I’m At A Loss- But I Still Believe !!” Edition

man up and play better

After last night’s debacle I admit that I am feeling numb. We all know that the Mets should be up three games to one this contest against the Royals, but some shoddy defense in both the infield as well as the outfield combined with bad bullpen management and some questionable strike zones by the umpires has put the Mets in hole that may be difficult to climb out of.

I am trying to be as optimistic as possible. This season’s team is not one that just lies down and dies when the going gets tough, and I hope they find that spark that can propel them to win three more games. It won’t be easy but I still believe when the smoke clears we will be having a parade down the Canyon Of Heroes.  Or our team will go down fighting.

And with that said…. HERE COMES THE INFAMY !!!!
