Here’s the details for Mike Piazza Weekend

FLUSHING, N.Y., July 26, 2016 – The New York Mets will commemorate the Hall of Fame career of legendary catcher Mike Piazza during the upcoming series against the Colorado Rockies at Citi Field July 29-31. The Mets will retire his #31 uniform in a pre-game ceremony on the field Saturday night, July 30 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to be in their seats for the beginning of the festivities. In addition, the Mets will honor Piazza with special promotional giveaways on Friday, July 29 and Sunday, July 31. Tickets are on sale now at Mets.com/Piazza or by calling (718) 507-TIXX.

Piazza joins Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver (41; retired in 1988); Manager’s Gil Hodges (14; retired in 1973) and Casey Stengel (37; retired in 1965) as the only uniformed Mets whose numbers have been retired.
