Mets Morning Laziness: everything is awesome why were you worried Thursday?

Slackish Reaction:  How about Jose Reyes with a 5 game hitting streak?  We’ll never get rid of him now.  And the Mets won two in a row so everyone who killed themselves on Thursday afternoon really wasted their lives because everything is fine in Queens now.   Everyone just overreacts – somehow I was the calm one.

You guys were right about this Conforto kid.  The Mets have started winning every day since we got that bum Cespedes out of the lineup.

Speaking of  overreaction theater – the Daily News tells us everything is fine again because the Mets won two baseball games.  Oh Mainstream Media you’re so cute.

My radio adventures: yesterday the Nationals’ radio feed (via app) went crappy too.  Super low levels on the nation-wide commercials, similar to the Braves feed.  I am convinced nobody at MLBAM QCs anything.  I stuck with it because as terrible as low levels are, it’s way better than having to dive for the radio for WOR’s LOUD COMMERCIALS.  Also, no Todd Schnitt promos.

I did hear from an MLB person on twitter who I felt like actually took my complaints seriously.  We’ll see.  It’s unbelievable to me that this goes on.

I’m bored with the whole Are Doc & Darryl Friends thing.  It’s been 31 years…who cares.  Be friends, don’t be friends.  Are Wally Backman and Tim Teufel friends?  Are Mike Piazza and John Franco friends?
Who cares.

Thor:  this being Queens, there are two possibilities today.  One is he pitches well and everyone overreacts about how awesome he is and puts him in the Hall of Fame.  The other is that he walks one batter and we wonder if the Mets are hiding an injury and the MSM kills the Mets for not putting Syndergaard on the DL.  There really is no middle in this town, and you guys want to drop Rosario into this chaos.  Actually I lost track, now that the Mets won two in a row do we still need Rosario to save the season?

@MediaGoon has bid of five of these.

Super-coach:  the soccer team won.  Another shutout.  We play against this morning.
