Sorry to hear about the passing of Anthony Young. His obituary will mention the consecutive losses, but as others have said, he was a much better pitcher than that streak would make you think. At one point he was being compared (hyped) to Gooden. Well, that wasn’t true, but he was by no means inept on the mound, just a victim of a weird mathematics and luck.
