Will Dick Scott manage the Mets? No.
Aside from my jokes that I don’t believe Dick Scott even exists (show me a picture of him at a Mets game, go ahead, I dare you) – imagine the Mets trying to sell the 2018 Rebuild with new manager Dick Scott, who may not even exist.
In the pro-Dick Scott camp would be his tenure as Terry’s bench coach (supposedly) but this is where I remind you the next Mets manager is Tim Teufel who has the same experience plus has spent this year roving in anticipation of taking over next year.
