Mets Police Morning Laziness: Flores comeback something

SLACKISH REACTION:  Wow what a game.  It was really awesome to see Barcelona in person.  Even in a meaningless game, to watch Messi & company play at such a high level was amazing.  You really noticed the drop in the second half when the stars came out.  82,000 of us at Met life Stadium.  Very cool.  Plus, it was TWO HOURS AND DONE as Sports should be, so I was home by 8:45!  Perfect.

Oh yeah the Mets – so down 5-0, driving home I tried to listen to WOR but Jesus Chist guys that metallic wah-wah seriously gave me a headache so I had to turn it off.  When I got home I saw the 5-2 or whatever, but I have no use for Saturday Night Baseball so I watched Planet Earth II and saw the Mets won the game yay Alfonzo.  Seems like it was  fun night of Mets’ing, but the product decreasingly interests me – especially that I can no longer listen on the radio.

The red hot Mets stay just 12.5 back!

Today is a Sunday so they will lose, then poor Gary has to get on a plane and then work tomorrow night in another time zone.  Sorry Gare.

Headline of the day:  Noah Syndergaard, injured after bulking up, rethinks his training.  NO SH*T SHERLOCK.   At least he figured it out.  And stop throwing 100 bro, we aren’t that impressed.  And dial back the Harveyism Look At Me when you come back.  Just quietly throw gems like JDG.

Most of the other stuff is trade rumor stuff of the WFAN Caller quality. Not linking.

I think instead of netting, the Mets might want to ponder this.

OK that’s all I got, gotta hit the soccer tournament. Must be nice to be Gary Cohen and get to sleep in.
