Over Sandy Alderson’s dead body. Like seriously, if Sandy Alderson dies we can revisit this, but before then there is actually a better chance of me getting the job in some sort of weird PR stunt than them handing it over to Wally.
There were all kinds of points in time where this made sense, but Wally’s latest tenure in the organization didn’t end well, and then he lasted not too long in Mexico whatever happened. Sorry Wally, never gonna happen..
