Abyssinia, Lucas. Mets trade Duda. Mets fans to realize what they had.

Adios pardners.
  1.  Lucas Duda was a fine fine solid Met.  Like so many Mets, never appreciated by the yahoos on social media who only like MVPs, Matt Harvey and Jose Reyes.  Lucas had to wait for Ike to totally suck to get a shot (hmmm sounds familiar) and now that he’s gone he will be appreciated or whatever Not-Duda plays first.
  2. The Rays play the Yankees this weekend in FNYS, so expect a big weekend and some LOLMets.
  3. Speaking of whatever non-Duda plays first, the Mets have Jay Bruce there tonight.  If only the Mets had played 40 practice games in March they could have gotten Jay some experience there.  But you know, everyone get mad when he isn’t good at it.
  4. Trade evaluation: a 23 year old warm body for a guy who wasn’t going to be brought back.  Great trade.
  5. Trivia question to file away – who has hit the most home runs at Citi Field?
