I hate WAR and think it’s nonsense but you Millennials like it. In better news, I have a stat called EYES which is I watch baseball for 40 years and can tell if someone is good or not. DW was good.
In the decade from 2005 (Wright’s first full MLB season) to 2014 (his last full season), only four position players — Albert Pujols, Chase Utley, Miguel Cabrera and Adrian Beltre — put up more WAR than Wright.
