Mets Police Morning Laziness: Sandy Alderson to solve 2B hole created by Sandy Alderson?

SLACKISH REACTION:  The Mets are supposedly talking with the Tigers to maybe perhaps get Ian Kinsler maybe.  Kinsler makes $11M and hit .236 with 22 HRs and he is 35 years old.

I mean what are we doing here Sandy?  Why the hell did you let Murph walk?  Did you truly thing Dilson Herrera was the answer?  If so then that was bad talent evaluation, and you seem to be acting like you made a bad talent evaluation on Dom Smith.

Yoesnis and Murph gave you a lot of cover by getting hot for 7 weeks (if only Murph had one more hot week in him) and let’s not forget Yo was your second or third choice.  Yes you fleeced the Blue Jays for Thor….but not too much has worked out around here.

And now the Mets have a hole at second.  You guys are acted like Murph wanted too much money and I will say now as I said then – let me know when the Mets get this FREE second baseman.  Someone is going to get the money. Dance with who brung ya.

This is a mess Sandy Alderson made.  Now we’re gonna trade for a 35 year old.
