Mets Police Morning Laziness: Vargas On The Radar, TDK Speaks, Wright mystery continues

SLACKISH REACTION: Hello.  Here’s what’s interesting.  I experienced with being less “douchey.”   I got less traffic.  Then I decided to bring back the snark and the sarcasm and traffic went up.  So let’s remember this the next time we go through another round of “Mets Police is so negative.”   I try a post out the All Time Mets Imported Team….crickets.  I make fun of Matt Harvey….clicks.   So don’t blame me, it’s both of us.  You like the snark.  Snark you shall get.

LOL I did my morning search for “Noah Syndergaard” and this popped up.

DID THE METS GET ANY NEW PLAYERS?  No, but today the media has decided to pretend the Mets are interested in Jason Vargas who is “on their radar.”  (BTW pay attention to how many Me Too sites use that phrasing.) This brought to you by the geniuses behind the acquisition of Joe Panik.   Oh wait, they do have a new player.  They signed Matt den Dekker.  That happened like 23 and a half hours ago but didn’t make the Morning Laziness.  So yeah they did get a new player.  Tickets on sale now.

#TheNarrative today is that you’re supposed to recap yesterday’s Matt Harvey Is Back stuff.   Here’s an article where Matt says he feels great and is looking forward to doing the work blah blah.  Too bad it’s from December 2016 and we all know how 2017 played out.  So this is just noise.  Just pitch bro.

Hey McDonalds, why no Two Cheeseburger Meal?  I know you want us to buy the expensive stuff but I have never actually met anyone who gets a Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder.  I’m sure they sell but I have never met these people.   Anyway please bring back the #2 Combo as it is part of the lexicon.

WE WANT YOU SAFE BECAUSE WE WANT YOU BACK:  Hey remember that time someone got hit by a baseball at a baseball game.  Awful.  MLB reacted by mandating everyone put up additional netting.  Now what if I told you that 1796 fans just trying to attend baseball games have been killed by foul balls in 2018 alone.  You’d expect Congress to take action and do something about foul balls, wouldn’t you?  It would be crazy to have that many people killed by baseball in 6 weeks.  Absolutely insane.

Today is Day 4 of David Wright in Florida and still no pictures.

I don’t even know what the Cubs are doing.
