I have done “Matt Harvey Google Alerts” on twitter a few times, but since this is Spring Training I thought I would test-drive it as a recurring feature here on the MetsPolice.com site.

“Matt Harvey” seems to be a fairly common name, and interesting things keep popping up.  So…

After more than a dozen years rescuing stricken turtles and caring for other sea creatures at Kelly Tarlton’s, Matt Harvey has called time on his underwater career.

The former aquarist left his role three weeks ago to pursue a new career as a quarantine inspector.

I was still giggling over the Slugerrr (with three Rs) photo, but that last one really has pushed me over the edge.

I can’t decide if I hope they are just having a good chuckle out in Queens or if there is going to be some ridiculous Emergency Meeting to find out What Are We Going To Do About This.

These are cool although I wonder why the MLB Shop is saying “debut” since I wrote about this back on January 6th.  (Wait until everyone finds out in a few days about the Celtic jersey).

Anyways, you can go pretty deep on these.  Even Kingman/Wilson is pretty “boring” considering you could order a “Richard Aguilera” (read this post for more mocking).

When I met Zack at the Mets’ Christmas party he immediately became my second favorite Met because I really dug his vibe.  Nice article about Wheeler in the News.
