I hope the Mets noticed one thing – everyone liked the blue jerseys. Instead of half the fanbase being actually angry about the look, the blues were universally applauded. Hopefully they will factor that sentiment into their future plans.
Terence snapped this one. Mookie looks just right in blue. I haven’t researched it but I suspect Mookie logged more games in a blue Mets jersey than anyone.
Steve D made a great observation that this was the first time the Mets wore blue at home. It was always road, spring or BP back in the day.
