Mets Subway Series Tickets

Hey guys. Media Goon here checking in. So I have the keys to the store for the next few days until Shannon gets back from whatever excursion he is on. So if you guys have any news or tips that you want to share, email me at [email protected] or hit me up on twitter @mediagoon. I always dread when Shannon leaves me in charge, it is when the crazy Mets news tends to happen. Anyway, onto the post.

The Subway Series tickets have gone on sale for ticket plan holders. Here is the interesting part of it. NO ORDER CHARGE ONLINE. But there are still delivery charges of $2.50 for print at home and $4.00 for mail.

Dear Mets Ticket Account Holder,

As a valued Mets Ticket Account Holder we would like to offer you the opportunity to purchase additional seats for the Subway Series – without having to pay an order charge online!

Come celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with family and friends at Citi Field as the Mets take on the Yankees! A limited number of seats are available, so buy your tickets today for the best selection and to take advantage of this no online order charge offer.

Finally no order charges for us non season ticket plan holders. I wonder how ticket sales are for these games

Uni Watch meets Mrs. Met

Hello from the airport! Media Goon is in charge TFN but I have left you lots and lots of posts and even some auto-tweets left behind for you.

If anything comes up for the next few days be sure to email Goon at [email protected]

Meanwhile, Supreme Commander Lukas has a great find on Uni Watch today. It’s an interview with the nice lady who played the character Mrs. Met in 1975.

In the 60’s there was a character called Lady Met, and we see in ESPN commercials that Mr. Met 2 has a wife and kids (or kids and a baby-mama who he drves around with).

If I were you I’d stop reading this, head to Uni Watch and enjoy the nice photo of Mrs. Met (she’s pretty..the actress not the mascot, I’m not that weird) and you will never believe who she married in real life.
