I keep reading mainstream headlines and even a few blog posts about how the negativity has crept in already.

Has it?

Am I just wearing Howie Rose colored glasses?

I don’t like the record, but I’m not in total “so and so are idiots” mode.

So let me ask you – you’re an actual Mets fan.  Speak for yourself.  Are you negative?

Second day in a row that The Record is bringing it. Today it’s the tale of Colactus chewing out Daniel Murphy for that dopey base running blunder.

“So now you’re the manager? I was going to pinch-hit [for Pelfrey],” Collins shot back. “I’m the manager, not you. Get your head out of your [bleep].”

I know everybody’s depressed but I’m wearing my Mitchell & Ness jacket again. I’m looking forward to watching again tonight. I’m enjoying blogging. Readership is way up this month….and I got invited to do something that I cant tell you about yet but the 7 year old in me is tickled blue and orange.

FLUSHING, N.Y., April 19, 2011 – The New York Mets tonight announced that tickets marked “Tuesday, April 19 – Game 8” can be redeemed starting tomorrow for a complimentary ticket to ONE of the May 30-June 2 games against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Citi Field. This includes paid, complimentary and tickets marked “NO RAINCHECK.;

Starting tomorrow, tickets can be redeemed in person only in advance at the Citi Field Advance Ticket Windows or prior to the game date selected at the Day of Game Ticket Sales Windows, starting two hours prior to game time, subject to availability.
