Mets Police Stadiums Week: Day One Wrigley Field

Welcome to Stadiums Week.

What is Stadiums week you ask?  I thought it might be fun to look at some other parks and see what we find.

Since the Mets are in Chicago I thought I’d pull up some of my pics from Wrigley earlier this summer.

This picture was taken from my assigned seat.  I got THE hook-up of all time.

If I stuck out my left hand it landed on this.   It was one of the most awesome days I ever had at a ballpark.

I was on an obstructed view kick, so for laughs I decided to demonstrate how “obstructed” my view was.  I can’t see the batter because of Theriot.

Also note the plexiglass blocking the owner.  That’s the owner with the blue stripes.  I think.

Here’s an obstructed view for you.  I posed it, but as you can see it is actually the view some fans have.  If you go on Stubhub and are like “wow, Cubs seats for $5” it’s one of these.

The stairs from the main hallway level up to field level

One of the many banners.  I’d like to steal this idea for Citi Field and am working on a list of suggestions.

Bob Murphy deserves one in Queens don’t you think?

I have posted more pictures of Wrigley here and here and here.  Here’s Wrigley’s brickwalk.

Come back tomorrow for a trip to Petco.  If you’d like to share your photos of your stadium travels hit me up at [email protected]
