Colactus!

A sequel to yesterday’s post which you should read or much of the below will make no sense (but I’m in a silly mood today).

While driving home last night listening to some Springsteen I changed my mind about Terry Collins.   Bruce prophesized this back in 1975 when he said, “One soft infested summer, me and Terry became friends” and

“Running into the darkness, some hurt bad, some really dying
At night sometimes it seemed you could hear the whole damn city crying
Blame it on the lies that killed us, blame it on the truth that ran us down
You can blame it all on me, Terry, it don’t matter to me now”

Is Jeff Wilpon the narrator in Backstreets? Interesting.

Anyway…Randy from The Apple accepted yesterday’s challenge and made this awesomeness.

I like how Randy has made Colactus into a hero.  When I combine that concept with this being the summer Terry and me become friends I’m kind of excited (in a weird blogger way).   I love the name Colactus and look forward to typing it for years as Terry destroys the other teams in MLB while he becomes the new Joe Torre.

I’m also digging how comic book stuff looks on the site (for weekend stuff anyway).

Kneel before Colactus!

Thanks to Randy and thanks to Matthew Callan for his inspiring title.
