So that’s interesting.
It’s a setback in the War on Black if the hybrid caps are worn.
It’s progress on the return of blue because, well, it’s the return of blue.
I believe the Mets haven’t worn blue since before most of you were born.
I own a 2011 BP/Spring jersey and they look good in person and on civilians. I don’t wear mine with a hybrid though.
My emotions are conflicted and overloaded. I’m sure we will all discuss at length on twitter @MetsPolice.
Note to Terry, maybe tell your team to stop playing stupid baseball, and you might recapture the success.

Not really warm to the Mets playing in Delta Zeta uniform colors.
Would have been surprising for them to wear BPs during the game…wouldn’t be shocked if MLB frowns upon wering an unofficial uni.
They are in fact wearing snow whites with black undershirt, black socks and hybrid cap.
I hope they lose, because this is a really ugly ensemble…if they win, they will wear it tomorrow for sure.

SOmeone finally sees that the Mets home cap and socks color is blue — and Terry Collins decides to ruin it. What about on the road? Since they wear black and hybrids on the road, why not blue caps and socks? Man this irritates me. And now even more as they’ve got full black tonight. Ugh.
