People lined up out at Citi Field to get their Seaver Bobble Heads today. Lucky for me I live 10 mins away from the stadium so I was taking my time to get there when they called the game. The Mets should have really called the game a little bit earlier in my opinion because almost all the weather authorities have been calling for non stop rain till Tuesday in the area.

With all the ill will that has been directed towards the Mets, you would think they would have tried to announce the rain out earlier.

Tom Seaver bobblehead giveaway has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 5. The next Mr. Met Dash is Sunday, May 6.
What poons, I didn’t come from Jersey because I took my chances and thought it’d be a washout, but if I did and got there as the game was being cancelled (after Washington already got hit by the same storm and called earlier this morning) AND didn’t get my bobblehead, I’d be right pissed.
I’m personally a big fan of the 9am rainout.
I am too… Not a fan of the BobbleHead Reschedule though. That’s why I bought my ticket. I have plans for May 5th.
Would u do the bobble heads tomorrow? Maybe Seaver was gonna be there today and can’t tomorrow

Oh, and now the Mets just announced Miguel Batista is pitching versus Lincecum tomorrow at 4:10 . .
