Mets to Wear Camo Jerseys on Mondays?

This is an interesting tidbit from  Adam Rubin which says the Mets will wear comflauge uniforms on five “Military Mondays” during the season.  The first one is April 21.

It’s the first I have heard of this.I wonder if they will be like the camp jerseys like last year or a new style… Shannon what have you heard?

Shannon here – I like it.  It’s fun and quirky and kind of in spirit with my “anything goes Sunday” concept I had back before the Treaty of Flushing.   Goon, you know we will both buy one.

Below is a fashion cap that I have previously posted.  I am not in any way saying the Mets will wear this.

  1. Actually from my perspective, being in the military, I wonder if on these 5 “Military Mondays” they are going to wear 5 different types of camouflage jerseys or camouflage lettering for each branch or type of service! The 2 from the Marines and one from the Army, Navy and Air Force! I personally prefer the camo inside the lettering like last year! i thought that looked really sharp, but they need their hats to be all camo bec you could barely see it inside the ny! Either way I’m really looking forward to this as a military service member, veteran and mets fan!
