FLUSHING, N.Y., March 11, 2015 – With limited ticket inventory available for the Mets’ April 13 Home Opener vs. the Philadelphia Phillies at Citi Field, the team has placed Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets on sale at Mets.com/OpeningDay and by phone at (718) 507-TIXX.

A limited number of seats remain for Opening Day through the purchase of full and partial Season Ticket plans which feature exclusive benefits including: discounted ticket prices, ticket exchange privileges, post-season priority, invitations to special season ticket holder events, and much more. Fans can purchase Season Tickets by visiting Mets.com/SeasonTickets or by calling (718) 507-TIXX.

Opening Week for the Mets features 10 games against National League East opponents the Phillies, Miami Marlins, and Atlanta Braves, and includes an exciting lineup of popular promotions. Friday, April 17 is the return of Free Shirt Fridays and all fans in attendance will receive a Matt Harvey themed t-shirt presented by Old Dominion Freight Line; Saturday, April 18 is the first Super Saturday and will include the first postgame fireworks show of the season. Sunday, April 19 is Family Sunday with the first 15,000 fans receiving a David Wright schedule poster presented by Citi and will include kid-friendly pregame activities on Mets Plaza and kids 12 and under running the bases in the postgame Mr. Met Dash.

  1. And by “Sold Out” they no doubt mean, “We’re holding back even more tickets than ever for multi game plans to justify selling standing room tickets for 50 bucks after fees.”
