METS HOST FAN APPRECIATION WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 23-25 AT CITI FIELD
FLUSHING, N.Y., September 20, 2016 – The New York Mets will celebrate their Amazin’ fans throughout Fan Appreciation Weekend in the final three regular season games this weekend when the Mets host the Philadelphia Phillies. The weekend begins with Free Shirt Friday at 7:10 p.m. followed by Super Saturday at 7:10 p.m. and concluding with Family Sunday at 1:10 p.m. on September 25.
In addition to Free Shirt Friday and a Mets Fleece Blanket giveaway to the first 15,000 on Saturday, the weekend will include hundreds of in-game giveaways featuring player-signed hats, balls and helmets as well as tweet your seat prizes – tweet back at us with the hashtag #CitiFood and you might win ballpark snacks, delivered to your seat. Sunday’s finale will include a 2017 Magnetic Schedule to all fans, alumni autograph signings on Mets Plaza pregame and a “Jerseys Off The Back” promotion following the game for randomly selected Season Ticket Holders. Throughout the weekend, Mets players will be distributing promo items to fans as they enter through the Jackie Robinson Rotunda. Randomly selected fans will be given exclusive VIP experiences including watching batting practice from the field, throwing out a first pitch and delivering the game ball to the mound.
