What are your 5 No-Trade Cities?

As I wound down last night I started pondering which 5 teams I would put on my no-trade list. (Supposedly Bruce can name five teams that he won’t go to).

So for me, and we will all have out own reasons, this comes down to geography.  I will accept anything in California or the North East and Chicago is a great town.  I also love the terrain in Arizona and Colorado so I’m fine playing for those guys.

My initial list was Miami and Tampa because of presumed bad situations, Seattle because I don’t want to be invisible, Toronto for taxes and then I arbitrarily picked Cincy.  I have never been to Cincinnati but nothing was grabbing me about being landlocked.  Then I remembered Detroit ain’t so nice.

Then the land locked thing got to me.  And I remembered that I have been to Kansas City and was bored in 4 hours.  And I have been to Atlanta many times and I don’t want to live there.  Maybe having a giant Florida beach house wouldn’t be so bad.  And Seattle looks cool so I’ll throw that back in.

So here’s my list –

Kansas City, St. Louis (never been but it’s far from oceans), Atlanta, Toronto (taxes) oh and Detroit because I hear it’s horrible.

I’m hoping the Mets don’t trade me to Cincinnati .
