Guest Experiences: Vigilant Mets Usher makes sure fans don’t move down ONE row with 2 out in the 9th

Mets, Mets, Mets.  What are you doing?

I have had this conversation with Mets Executives many times. The whole argument against letting people move down is that you have a potential issue if the rightful seat holder shows up.

Hey you know what you do then – you say “hey that’s my seat” and 99.99% of the time people move. I was at Wrigley on Friday and people were shifting up and down and over and if someone showed up then people just moved. It’s not a big deal. I’m not saying Citi should be the wild west, but at some point lets use common sense.

Let’s look at these two guys. Here they are in their pretty snazzy second row seats  There are two outs in the 9th and the count is 0-0.

And they slid down one row for the fun of sitting in the first row behind home plate….and the usher has to come and bust balls.

That’s fine if that’s how you want your GUEST EXPERIENCES to be at Citi Field Mets.  I get it.  What if Scrooge McMoneybags shows up with one out in the 9th and is mad that some riff riff is in is seat.  (Riff Raff that somehow can afford second row seats).   However you guys want roll is fine.  I have a nice TV at home and three teenagers with no interest in the sport.

Great job by Niko of @nikometsplus capturing this, which is why you should follow him on twitter.
