Is Noah Syndergaard the best Mets pitcher of the 2010s? Maybe.

Is Noah Syndergaard the best Mets pitcher of the 2010s?  Maybe.   And he’s not going to be traded.

Let’s take a look at my #1 follower’s stats.  Thanks Ultimate Mets Database!

The object of baseball is to win.  Noah has a really snazzy .627 winning percentage.  We can argue all day about the amount of runs scored for Jake and The Dark Knight, but winning follows Thor.  Nearly 2/3 of the time.  Not bad.

His ERA is third at 2.93.  An ERA under three in the 2010s?   Sign me up!!!

4th in strikeouts…but 400 behind the leader.  And you know who that is….don’t you?  We’ll talk about him tomorrow.

Is Noah Syndergaard the best Mets pitcher of the 2010s?  Probably not…but someone has to be Koosman and Darling, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
