Mets introduce #4 IFer Jed Lowrie, coincidentally ex-Wags client who also plays 2B like Cano

The Mets held a press conference to introduce Jed Lowrie.

It was not on SNY-TV but was on the Facebook page.  I am trying to figure out why they don’t televise these, and my working theory is that by doing web only they can have some intern run the camera instead of paying some union cameraman.   This will be relevant in a second.

Two things caught my ear.  One was the first position that came to Wags’ mind was second base.  Wait until Wags finds out he gave away the store for Cano (yeah yeah and a closer, too bad Familia wasn’t available as a Free Agent…hold on Wags is being passed a note).

He also said that Lowrie already knows a lot of people in the org.  YEAH, like his former agent.

Anyway, it’s a good signing – real teams have depth like this – but I still think this is a long con and Jeff has NO idea what Wags is up to long term.

Oh wait, a third thing….Wags gave a long list of people who signed off on this…including….David Wright.  Come on.

Anyway back to the camera-man…you may notice some heads are cut off below.  That was the camera shot that SNY/Mets used for the public.  As of 2:18 I don’t have a press release from the Mets so I can’t share any info with you.  You can read the one I made up last week.

Lowrie will wear #4 but be number one in your hearts.
