Mets want you to know what’s new at Citi Field for 2019

Civilian me, the one on the Mets.com mailing list got an email.   It told me what’s new at Citi Field, so I thought I’d share.

What’s New at Citi Field
The Mets unveiled a number of new elements at Citi Field for 2019, including the new 1969 display case in the Mets Hall of Fame & Museum.

Also unveiled were new additions to the already notable culinary line-up including:

Emmy Squared, serving the ‘Colony2’ and ‘The Emmy’ pies and their signature ‘Le Big Matt’ double stack burger;

Destination Dumplings based in Flushing, Queens who utilize traditional dumpling cooking methods while presenting exhilarating new flavors; Dulcinea bringing the magic of the Spanish churro to New York City and now Citi Field, making the Ballpark a little sweeter; Pizza Cupcake combining classic Italian flavors and fresh ingredients to create a delicious shareable snack;

Stuf’d, offering an innovative and tasty take on classic sandwiches by serving them on French Toast Style Challah;

and Sliders & Sinkers, Aramark Senior Executive Chef Patrick Schaeffer’s award-winning burger from the NYC Wine and Food Festival’s 2018 Burger Bash.

Other featured new additions include Marty’s V Burger and La Newyorkina.

Fans can also enjoy returning favorites including Nicoletta by Chef Michael White, Bash Burger by Chef Josh Capon, Fuku by David Chang, ‘Lil Sweet Chick, Wowfulls, Dan and John’s Wings, D?, Mama’s of Corona, Pat LaFrieda’s Original Filet Mignon Steak Sandwich, Dave Pasternack’s Catch of the Day, Arancini Bros., favorites from Union Square Hospitality Group including Shake Shack, Myriad Restaurant group and more.

I still think you should stay home and buy a nice big TV but enjoy the game if you are going.
