So one of the things about Mets Police vs. all the other sites is I don’t second guess, I first guess.
I also don’t bounce back and forth about topics depending on which way the wind is blowing. You may notice the MSM has stopped calling for MIckey’s head now that the Mets have won 5 out of 6.
I had predicted that Mickey would be fired after today’s game. My logic was that the combination of heading to the West Coast and the Memorial Day holiday would give the Mets some cover from the media spotlight and allow Interim Manager Jim RIggelman to settle in before the Mets come back.
Obviously Mickey had a pretty good week and I am most likely wrong. But I will not pretend I didn’t stay it and stick to my guns all week.
In the end, it’s good that the Mets win games.
