The 5 Worst General Managers On The Office

Since it’s quiet I thought I would make a list of the 5 worst General Managers on the Office.

  1. ROBERT CALIFORNIA

Who is this guy?  Do you trust him at all?  He just comes to town and says a lot of words but is he even accomplishing anything?   He seems like he has to prove that he’s smarter than everyone else in the room despite evidence to the contrary.

2.  BRODIE VAN WAGENEN

Who is this guy?  Do you trust him at all?  He just comes to town and says a lot of words but is he even accomplishing anything?   He seems like he has to prove that he’s smarter than everyone else in the room despite evidence to the contrary.

3.  ANDY BERNARD

A completely ineffectual manager, probably because he has no experience.   It’s unclear to me why Dunder Mifflin thinks he would be a good choice to lead the company even if he is very enthusiastic about the paper business.

4.  DWIGHT SCHRUTE

Probably the best man for a vision of what the company could be, but layers it with some craziness, making him a Net Negative as a manager.  However, he does run a tight ship, and has some experience as an Assistant To The Regional Manager, so him being the new manager at the end of the series makes a heck of a lot of more sense than hiring Andy.

5.  MICHAEL SCOTT

Yeah sure he pulled the Chili’s maneuver in which he used some unorthodox means to secure the paper business of all the government offices in the county.  That made some people compare him to like the Gil Hodges Of Paper…but after that…complete clown-fest…barely managed the team, and was lucky he had Jim Halpert to rock some clutch sales and keep the numbers looking good enough that corporate never caught on.  However, he was a billion times better than Inexperienced Andy Bernard.
