More evidence that many people knew in a advance the Mets and Marlins would walk off last night

Thanks to Nick for sending me this clip.  As I started this morning, I mentioned it sure was odd that Gary Cohen immediately said the moment of silence was 42 second when it is not (run a timer and you will see.)

Here, the Marlins announcer also somehow calculates this at 42 seconds.  It’s clearly not 42 seconds.  Why would both the Marlins announcer and Gary Cohen miscount like that?  That’s one heck of a coincidence.  The Marlins announcers also went into the moment with that air of “Golly Gee, who knows what’s about to happen.”

Seems like LOTS of people knew.  So that brings me back to what did Gary Cohen know, when did he know it, and if he did know something why didn’t he choose to tell us.

Also why did SNY run a feature about Amed Rosario’s batting struggles at around 6:50, just a few minutes before what was about to be one of the bigger moments in Mets history?

Seems like the media knew.  Why play coy? Why not tell fans what was about to happen?
