Good news, Mets Police has been renewed for a 14th season and will be back for the 2021 Major League Baseball Campaign.
The stated goal of this blog is to encourage the Mets to win the World Series while nicely dressed. While much progress has been made with regards to their attire, not much has been accomplished on the winning front.
It almost looked like I might be able to stop doing this in 2015, but here we are five years later and these losers are finishing in last place in a season where more than half the teams made the playoffs, some with losing records!
However, I do wish to let it be known to Mr. Cohen that I am an admitted sell out and for a nice enough check I will be happy to go off on a new mission to Save Star Trek from itself, and I don’t really care what you wear. Baseball is quite boring, but I’m committed to my mission here. Unless a check comes, then….. who cares?
Alternatively, I will just toil away until one day the Mets are named the World Series Champions, and do it while completing a season where they dressed like a professional baseball team and not some beer league clowns.
In the meantime, unlike some sites that take the winter off, I shall be here every day doing whatever it is I do here as I have been since
