The Big Zero Marcus Stroman needs to stop whining

To bring back an old Mets catchphrase – Man Up And Play Better.  The Big Zero is whining about METS MANAGEMENT here.  My apologies for his profane hostage, parental guidance is suggested.

As baseball fans know, and baseball players SHOULD know, whether or not to start a game is decided by the HOME TEAM.  So take it up with Mr. Cohen and Mr. Alderson.

Also….just pitch.   #STU, but in the Alonsic way.

FLUSHING, N.Y., April 11, 2021 – The New York Mets have announced that this afternoon’s game against the Miami Marlins has been suspended due to rain. It will resume as the first game of a separate admission doubleheader on Tuesday, August 31 at 1:10 p.m.

The game regularly scheduled for Tuesday, August 31 will start at 7:10 p.m. Game one will be a nine-inning game, while the night game will last seven innings. Tickets for today’s game will NOT be valid for admission to the August 31 doubleheader.

(My note – this is phrased oddly and for a second I thought they were playing three games.  No.  Todays game is the day game on the 31st, and there is a different game with different admission at night.)

Fans with tickets and parking passes to today’s postponed game will automatically receive a credit in their “My Mets Tickets” account in the amount of the face value of their paid ticket and parking pass for today’s game. Fans can apply the credit value of today’s tickets and parking pass toward the purchase of a ticket to any 2021 regular season Mets home game (excluding the September 10-12 Subway Series vs. Yankees) or to any 2022 regular season home game played on or before April 11, 2022 (excluding 2022 Opening Day), subject to availability. If such an exchange is made for a higher priced ticket, the credit will be applied toward the price of the higher priced ticket.

Complimentary tickets to today’s game and those marked “NO RAINCHECK” have no value and do not constitute a rain check.

Tickets for Mets games are available at Mets.com, the MLB Ballpark app, by calling (718) 507-TIXX or by visiting the Citi Field Box Office.
